Ed Schmidt hears about a treasure beyond imagination. We follow Eds life after he is discharged from the Army and the capture and hiding of The Amber Room by the German Army through its many hiding places outside if Russia. Ed Schmidt becomes reconnected to the treasure through an inheritance from his father of a hunting lodge in Bohemia where there today is more treasure and danger than expected.

The Amber Room is still in existence today, however, no one knows where it is hidden. We continue with Ed Schmidts son Carl going on an action-filled expedition with his friends to Lake Gelt in Southern Germany where there has been reports of sunken treasure. After discovering diamonds concealed in artillery rounds, Carl and his friends have a run-in with a Nazi German. The excitement continues as Carl continues his adventures by rediscovering The Amber Room and more treasure as he visits his fathers hunting lodge and discovers a salt mine below the property.

There are many unexpected turns on this journey of extraordinary wealth with an exhilarating ending. The Amber Room is based on what might have been and any resemblance to any persons living or dead is purely by accident.
